My Declaration of Yogic Principles
I'm back!
I started this blog back in 2007. I was a lot younger then and definitely not awake. Here it is the end of 2022 and I am ready to talk about all things yoga. Well, let me rephrase that. I will delve into the yoga teachings I know at this point in my journey.
I became an asana instructor in September 2021 with My Vinyasa Practice. (Yes, I said asana instructor and not yoga teacher - I'll explain later on.) I am a registered 200 hour yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance. I am currently studying yoga philosophy and mindfulness.
My most recent Tantra Yoga teacher training introduced me to the sacred texts - the Vedas and Bhagavad Gita. This was a game changer. Reading those texts, really forced me to sit with ideas and perspectives I was told growing up were not possible. As, I continue to study these texts, I am reminded every day of who I am truly am - a divine being. My mission is to help YOU establish your own path to Brahman (True Self).
The following are my Declaration of Yogic Principles for this blog.
- Offer my perspective on paths to Self-Realization.
- My views are open to all no matter your belief or faith.
- Honor all teachers that brought forth this wisdom & knowledge.
- Remain honest and truthful on yogic teachings.
- To help us remember we are all light beings and we are One.
